HYDRO-DYNAMIC APPENDICES
The MULTITASKING SUP is equipped with two hydrodynamic appendages (loops), a highly original innovation which increases the performance of the board.
To put it simply, the SUP Multitasking is a displacement hull whose theoretical forward speed is directly related to its length.
As you know any hull has a critical speed given by the formula Vm = 1.35 √(L) where L is the length of the hull expressed in feet and Vm the speed expressed in knots.
SUP Multitasking has a shape optimised to exploit the parameters of speed and length, the hull has been designed with a recess called a lunate bight that allows the waterline to be increased (compared to an equivalent board with the same “outline”) with an obvious advantage in terms of performance even when passing over waves.
The hydrodynamic appendage of the SUP Multitasking also triggers the well-known Bernoulli principle: the fluid thread (A) flows along the waterline in laminar direction, when it finds the lunate bight its path is longer, it must therefore accelerate to rejoin the fluid thread (B) which has a shorter path. The acceleration of the fluid thread (A) creates a depression, therefore less resistance to the advancement of the table.
BACKREST AND SUPINE CONDUCTION
The MultiTasking SUP is the result of extensive R&D by FLO’SAIL, and represents a significant evolution of what is already on the market. The SUP is also equipped with a backrest (chaise longue), a never-seen-before innovation that allows lying down and allows new technical and sporting gestures.
FLO’SAIL has invented the lying down handling of the tethered sail, this type of rig (OPTIMIST SAIL) has never been seen on a board before. The captive mast is permanently inserted in a special foot and is free to turn on itself. Basically we can talk about a new sport, the “Flosailing” precisely, the search for the wind will be done with simple and instinctive strategies.
The backrest offers the right support for relaxing and snorkelling activities.

BUILDING MATERIALS AND CHARACTERISTICS
The MultiTasking SUP has an advanced construction technology, the plastic laminates are first glued and then welded with ultrasonic heat, an incredibly durable joint; very solid construction material 1,100 g/m2 resistant to UV rays and impacts against rocks.
